Managed, designed and developed, with a small team, the museum’s collections website and API. Built the backend and frontend of the website/API to facilitate the “Pen,” a portable device given to all visitors that allows them to save objects from their visit and study them later on a personalized website.
Designed, developed and maintained internal administration tools that give staff control over the day-to-day operation of in-gallery technologies.
Designed and developed experimental interfaces for browsing collections data.
Rebuilt the museum’s search interface and underlying technology using Elasticsearch.
Managed the operation of the museum’s web servers and databases. Worked to streamline code, data and server deployment workflows.
Shared research and process with the museum technology community through two peer-reviewed papers, presentations to universities and frequent blog posts.

Developed web-based campaign executions for clients such as American Express, Microsoft, Old Navy and others. Worked closely with art directors, copywriters, producers and designers to incorporate client feedback.
Worked with quality assurance team to identify and solve bugs and to ensure a consistent, on-brand experience across multiple desktop and mobile devices.
Led teams of developers to create ideas for campaign briefs and new business pitches. Created written explanations and visual mock-ups of ideas and presented them to creative directors. Incorporated feedback and developed ideas further for client presentations.
Experimented with emerging technologies such as Arduino, NodeJS and Kinect, and built prototypes to showcase their capabilities to the agency. Created proof-of-concept coded animations and website prototypes to explore feasibility of campaign executions.
